Finding and fixing redirect loops
A redirect loop — page A sending visitors to page B, which sends them back to A — is one of the few plugin misconfigurations that can take an entire site offline. Browsers give up with ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS, and every visitor is locked out until someone finds the offending rule.
RedirectZen refuses to save a rule that would create a loop, walking your existing rules before the save completes. Existing loops surface as failing rules during verification, with the final HTTP status that proves it.
